The event took place in St Fin Barre’s Cathedral in July  2009 and consisted of a six hour concert of some of the world’s leading exponents of sound as an art form.

the artists featured on the four CDs are

Angus Carlyle (UK),  Olivier Nijs (NL),  Suspicion Breeds Confidence / Tobias Schmitt (DE),   Roland Etzin (DE), The Quiet Club,  SAFE,  Female Orphan Asylum, John Godfrey,  Tony Langlois,  Kelly/Stalling,  Mersk, Francis Heery,  Japp Blonk (Nl),  Christine Wertheim (Nz),  Jerome Rotherberg (USA).

The  setting of St Fin Barre’s Cathedral and its wonderful acoustics are explored in full by the artists and the results are captured faithfully by engineer Rob Collins.

The box set designed by artist Mick O’Shea of The Quiet Club contains a set of 4 CDs and cards designed by each of the performing artists housed in a special embossed black box .  This gives you a once in a lifetime chance to purchase this unique object as it is guaranteed to become a much sought after collector’s item.
